Can't archive RSS feeds in Outlook 2007

Alright, so I'm using Outlook 2007 for my email and RSS feeds. I want to
archive/delete RSS items that are older than 3 weeks old because I'm not
going to read them anyways. However, I finished setting up autoarchive
settings in Outlook 2007 but for some reason, it doesn't delete them! I have
so many RSS feeds that are way past 3 weeks old but they aren't getting
deleted. It's frustrating. Here is a picture of my settings, which is
applied to all folders/RSS feeds (except for my email).

I manually run the Archive option (from the File menu) and set it to archive
all folders based on my Auto Archive options (which as the picture above
shows, should delete items older than 3 weeks old) but it doesn't do
anything. Nothing gets deleted. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Double check the RSS folders to make sure they've got the same archive
settings to be sure. Then see if you receive any errors when you try an
archiving operation.

Thanks for the reply. For the RSS folders, I've checked the 'Archive items
in this folder using the default settings' button so I believe whatever I
set in the global Auto Archive settings will be applied in all these folders
as well. Now this is the strange thing. I've set the Auto Archive to run
once a day. Just last night, it prompted me. So I hit OK and then all of a
sudden, it began to archive my emails, well at least that's what it said on
the bottom. That's not what I want to happen because I want to keep every
piece of my email in my Inbox. I got afraid so I just hit Cancel on the
archive operation. When I manually run Auto Archive from the File menu, this
wouldn't have happened, well actually nothing would. So this is kinda
strange to me.
