Can't change dates/date ranges in EPM Time Entry or reporting scre

J

Jim

I have been trying to find what setting was changed or ?? within our EPM
site that changed how my screens present and act. I have not found anything
in my preferences that would cause or correct the issue that I am having and
have exhausted all means I have availavble so far to find the answer.

The problem that I am having is that upon returning to the office after a
vacation, I am no longer able to adjust the dates on either my reports or and
of the detail project views for task/time entry or reporting.

Prior to the vacation I was able to page forward and back any calendar days
I needed, with the prime time period matching up to the companies payroll
cycles. Since, however, I can see the current day's date and that is it. Even
when submitting status reports the screens will only allow me to
see/select/enter the current date.

Apparently my profile and setup is the only one that has this issue in our
company. All of the members of my staff are fully able to scroll through
dates as they wish and their reports reflect the weekly time frames, but mine
do not.

Any guidance and direction on where to look to correct this would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks

Easy part first: you have checked all the view settings in PWA
right?

Next Easiest: I have seen this once before with differing patch levels
- server was updated and one PM had ignored the messages to update.
Is it possible that some new update or cumulative update was applied
while you were gone?

Check the Server version (you can find the query to use in any number
of blogs - search "find project server 2007 version") and compare that
against your Project Pro and the other project manager's Project Pro
versions.

Easy but should not be necessary: In one case, I also fixed an
inconsistency between what users saw by deleting the My Task webpart
and then reinstalling it and having all the PMs republish.

I unfortunately, do not have access to the SQL server to determine if any
updates were installed or check the version. Is there something else I can do
or ??
