In Word 2003, I have a table of 4 columns.
I adjusted the column widths several times, via
Table -> Table properties -> Column -> preferred width
Soon, I noticed the first column couldn't be changed: it was "greyed
out"
Now after more tweaking, the third column is also stuck.
The contents are smaller than the column width, that doesn't
seem to be a limiting factor.
The Table Options has no preferred width, nor automatically resize
to fit contents.
I did not use mouse to adjust the table at anytime.
I had not fiddled with anything - I had only entered text into
table cells and adjusted the width.
Why does it suddenly disallow width changes?
