Can't Click on Files to Restore my OneNote Files

Please see my post on "Restoring my OneNote Files", Oct. 21. I have a backup
of all my OneNote files that were lost when I installed Office Professional
2003 SP2, but now, with the backup, which is a normal windows .bak file, is
"greyed" out and I can't click on it to restore the files. How can I get back
my OneNote Files through this backup file? This is terrible...

I can't do anything with the backup file because when I want to restore, it
is greyed out. Please help, anyone...

Dear Ben,
I simply used the Windows Backup and cannot click on the file to regain my
OneNote files. This is so disheartening...

I wish someone would help me...

O.K., but Windows Backup creates .BKF files not .BAK files. At least last
time I checked. That's why I'm confused about where these .BAK files came
from.

If you have a .BKF file created with Windows Backup you should be able to
use Windows Backup to extract (restore) the .ONE files backed up to it.
