Can't click on word document!!

I can type in a word document, but i can't click anywhere around the text. I
can't highlight text or move the cursor in any way with the mouse. The only
way to move the cursor is with the arrow keys, which makes things very
difficult and it takes too much time.

I have Windows Vista on a brand new laptop (Dell inspiron 1525)...i have
uninstalled microsoft office 07 and reinstalled ...that didnt work...i called
Dell talked to 7 differnt people and finally after paying $150 to talk to a
tech support person, I was told to call mircrosoft...I just got off the phone
with microsoft and I was told to come to this website ..or call Dell. I am
very frustrated with this issue!

You have corrupted your Word DataKey. From Start, Run (Winkey+R), type in

regedit

and press enter. Navigate to the key listed below and delete it.
