Can't Close a Personal Folder

I'm trying to remove a personal folder from Outolook 2002
on Win Xp Pro. I right-click on the personal folder and
click on close. I then receive an error message " The
Operation failed. An object cannot be found."

I am also connected to an Exchange server and have a
milbox located on that server which works fine. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
