Can't compose or reply to HTML e-mails

HTML e-mails are displayed normally, however, whenever i attempt to reply, i
can't get a cursor. Same with new e-mails I try to compose. Plain text is
fine.

Have done 'repair' and re-install with my Outlook 2003 disk. No joy.

Any ideas?

I am having the same issue with my outlok 2007 plus I can view HTML message
content. Did you find a solution?

Yes - seems Internet Explorer supplies all the functionality of HTML
read/write capability not only for Outlook, but everything else. I don't
understand why this is not built into Windows.

Apparently my install of IE was be-fouled, so I simply un-installed and
re-installed IE and everything was back to normal.
