Can't connect, though test emails work

My outlook stopped working, can't send or recieve. I can, however, send test
emails when I click on the "test" button in the account settings.

Thunderbird works fine, sends and receives, after importing all the settings
automatically from Outlook. Can anyone tell me what's the matter?
