can't connect to Analysis Services (PS2007)

Hi-

(PS2007, SQL 2005)

We are having trouble connecting to Analysis Services. The error we are
receiving when we attempt to connect through SQL Server Management Studio is:

Cannot connect to <server_name>

A connection cannot be made. Ensure that the server is running.
(Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient)

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
(System)
******************************************************

We've installed and confirmed registration for the 9.0 OLE DB Provider.
We've also installed the other downloads (SQL Server Native Client, 2005
Management Objects Collection, Backward Compatibility Component, and ADOMD
client).

We are not seeing where the problem is. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Beth,

I assume that you have a DB server and an App Server. On the App server
please install the client tools for SQL and try again.

FYI-
We are working with MS on this and so far they think it is a bug...
Don't quite understand why yet, but once we do, I'll post the resolution.
They are trying to recreate the problem there using PS2007 and SQL2005
