Can't connect to Project 2003 server

Hi,

I am trying to connect to Project 2003 server and I am
getting this MS SQL Server error:
Connection failed:
SQLState: '01000'
SQL Server Error: 10061
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]
ConnectionOpen(COnnect())
Connection failed:
SQLState:'08001'
SQL Server Error: 17
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets] SQL
Server does not exist or access denied.


Could anyone help me in this case ?

It might be due to Protocol.

Just Type Cliconfg.exe at run and select TCP/IP from the list of protocols.

Refer to article 837653, you need to run ConnInfo.exe to specify the IP-adress.
