Can't Connect to Server

After installation, trying to set the Project Server URL in
Tools|Options|Collaborate results in the error message:

"You are attempting to connect to a Microsoft Project Central Server which
is not supported by this version of Project".

I'm running Project 2003 Pro, trying to connect to Project 2003 Server, with
a SQL Server 2005 database backend. Yes, I know it wasn't supported, but with
an MVP's blog about Project Server, I was able to get it up and running. Now,
I just can't connect to it.

Anybody have any ideas? Thanks
Dave

You are not connecting correctly to the Project Server database. Refer to
the following FAQ for how to create your Administrator login account in
Microsoft Project Professional:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/CreateAdministratorLoginAccount.htm

After you get your Project Server environment configured, and have added
enterprise resources to the Enterprise Resource Pool, refer to the following
FAQ to teach your PM's how to create their own login accounts in Microsoft
Project Professional:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/CreatePMLoginAccount.htm

Given your lack of experience with the tool, refer to the following FAQ for
information about documentation, books, and training on Project Server 2003:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/PS2003Documentation.htm

Hope this helps.
