We have Project Server 2003 running on a Windows Server 2003 box. When I try
to connect to it from the server itself, I have no problems. When I open
Project Pro 2003 and go to Project Server Accounts from a XP Pro box (to
create accounts and save projects to the server) and enter the URL and hit
"Test Connection", I get the following:
You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the
credentials that you supplied because your Web browser is sending a
WWW-Authenticate header field that the Web server is not configured to accept.
I've lowered the Trusted Sites setting to Low and even explicitly entered
the URL (http://[server]/projectserver) as trusted. I do not have Google,
Yahoo, or any other toolbars installed. Also, if I open IE6 and enter the
URL, I get a login box and can log into PWA. Finally, if I try to connect via
another 2003 Server box, I don't have problems.
Any suggestions?
