Can't convert from trial to full version

I downloaded the trial of office home & student 2007 when I got my new
computer. The trial expires April 30. I just purchased a version of office
and when I am prompted to enter the product key I enter what is on the
package but it says it is not a valid product key. I tried several times.
Any advice?

Uninstall the trial version of Office, then install
your new version using the Office CD & product key.
