Can't copy and paste into or out of Word

Hi, I really hope someone here can help me, as I'm tearing out my hair!
Word has recently stopped letting me copy and paste into Entourage. In addition, it's stopped copying from into Word Firefox either.I don't get any error message, it just doesn't work. Very frustrating, as I used to be able to do these actions!
I can however paste from Firefox into Entourage. So I think the problem def lies with Word.

Does this have anything to do with the "normal template"? If so, how can I revert it?

This is unlikely to have anything to do with your ormal template.

Entourage will accept Plain Text (normal characters) and a very cut-down set
of HTML.

Unless the email you are pasting into is already in HTML, Entourage will not
accept HTML, only text.

If the object you are trying to paste cannot be described by Entourage HTML,
then you will get nothing. So generally, pictures and tables won't paste.

Word offers a File>Send... "As HTML" and "As Attachment" commands.

These commands bypass Entourage's HTML engine completely and use the
internal Word HTML filter, which offers a MUCH richer set of commands.

Entourage HTML is specifically stripped back to prevent Internet Nasties
being transmitted in or out, and to produce small emails. Word's HTML is
optimised to describe a Word document as completely as possible: you will
get an almost perfect transmission.

Hmmm. I am having a similar problem that did not exist prior to a week ago
when I did a standard MSOffice upgrade. I now am no longer able to copy or
paste from entourage emails. In other words if I copy a line of text in an
email and try and paste it into the email or into another document it no
longer does it. I never had this problem before the upgrade and could copy
and paste both text and html content from entourage emails and have been able
to since I have used been using Entourage.
