Cant copy anymore

IN times of crisis I would be able to copy this while workbook book and
paste in into a fresh clean workbook.

Wont work anymore. Excel freezes up, beachball comes up and does not come
down.

Do you observe this behaviour on one particular document, or just all.
Sounds to me like corrupted excel file. Have you lately installed any update
or anything? If so have you run Verify and repair disk permitions?

And maybe moot, but how much disk space is available on the hard drive
containing the file?

Thanks, NO recent update, everything working ok, and lots hard disk space.
Anyway, a reboot solved issue, but today, the issue is back. So still
problem. Even have to force quit out of Excel.
But maybe a reboot of computer is the solution, but seem lot to do for every
copy and paste.

Also, if was corrupt file, an irreplaceable file, as this one is, the way
out of that is to copy paste it into new file! But we can't do that easily!

Also, with this file same issue, before: when quit excel, relaunch file
comes up, again, reboot temporarily solves this.
Ah... Just tested on another simple file same problem, so not the files
fault.
