I just reimaged my computer last night with Windows XP Pro. I saved many
filed to a DV and then tried to copy those files from the DVD back to my
computer. Almost of the files copied fine, with the exception of some Access
files! When I reinstalled I set up the ‘New Briefcase’ on my desktop. When
I tried to copy the Access files to ‘New Briefcase’, I kept getting a message
that read ‘Briefcase can’t open the database D:\Northwind_Backup.mdb’. ‘The
Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file D:\Northwind_Backup.mdb’.
It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to
view the data.’ Does anyone know what this means? How can I copy this file
to ‘New Briefcase’?
