Can't create expression to compare values in tables?

Earthling

I just need to know how to write an expressison that compares the
autonumber value to an ID value in the previous record. See my
previous post a couple of days ago from me.

Is there anyone that can help - please don't ignore my request. It
may take you 2 minutes, but it takes me a whole days work to
figure this out and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Martians

One day, especially on a weekend, isn't a long time to wait for a
newsgroup response. Remember, this is a mutual support forum, and
people answer questions when they (a) understand the question, (b) know
an answer, and (c) have the time. Be a little more patient; then, if
your question hasn't been answered in a couple of days, post the
complete question again, possibly with more detailed information or a
clearer explanation, and with the tag "REPOST" in the subject header
along with the summary of the question.

I'll have a go at your original post, but a quick look tells me we're
going to need some back-and-forth dialog to come up with a satisfactory
solution.

You are both "Earthling" & "Martians"???

Perhaps, the problem is caused by identity crisis?

You are in good hands with Dirk's help so I won't butt in.
