Cant cut or paste in Word

If i cut a text or even a single word in a Worddocument i cant cut or paste
it in the word document. The Cut and paste buttoms are also dimed.

But if i cut a text in Excel or other officeprogram i can paste it into word.

Why?

The document must be protected. Look under the Tools menu for Unprotect.

Nope it was not protected, However after the third reboot it disapered!
I think its time for a reinstallation of my office.
