Can't delete a field

I am trying to delete a field in a table but I keep
getting a message that says I can't because it is part of
a relationship nad I should delete the relationship first.
I don't have any relationships set up which include this
field. Can anyone help? How do I delete it?

Hi Tony

I would first of all check for relationships via Tools / Relationships.
Although there might not be any visible relationship, click on the Show All
Relationships icon just to see if in fact there are no relations
