Well, you can believe me when I say I don't know how to find the .PST
file. My data has been archived using Outlook's manual Archive
command (on the File menu) or the AutoArchive feature is put into a
.PST file, just as you said. When I search for .PST files, none are
found. When I search for the path shown in the achive command, it is
not found.
So, I really don't know how to find the .PST file.
In the meantime, I still have the problems I originally wrote about.
Can't delete and can't sync.
Thank you.

If you don't know what a .PST file is, how did you retrieve your
archives?

Data that is archived using Outlook's manual
Archive command (on the File menu) or the AutoArchive feature is
put into a .PST file. And unless you're using Exchange, your
default data file is a .PST file also.
Tell us more about how these items were archived and what
exactly you did to retrieve them -- then we can give you more
help on this.

Are you using a .PST file? How big is the file?
Incidentally, there's a better way to view archived data
