Can't delete link

I had an external reference to another workbook and deleted the other
workbook.

Now I can't delete the link in my first workbook.

Every time I open the first workbook it gives an alert if I want to update
the reference to the other book.

How do I delete the link. YES, I've been through the help
section............

Hi Wolf,

Having the ability to easily break links has been on my wish list for a long
time. I can't wait for Excel 2004 to reach the market to see whether or not
my wish has been fulfilled.

Try using Bill Manville's FindLink add-in, which you can find on Stephen
Bullen's Downloads page:

It's designed for WinXL, so the dialogs are scrunched, but it works.

You may need to download and install the "VBA Converter for Excel X"
add-in from MacTopia Downloads:
