This is in relation to Outlook 2007.
We have a reoccuring meeting in our office calendar that was created awhile
ago. The user that created the meeting no longer works here and has since
been removed from active directory.
When I go to delete this calendar entry I am prompted to send the meeting
cancellation out to the meeting attendees. When I try and do this I get the
following error:
"You do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the
specified user."
I am owner of the calendar I am trying to delete the entry out of.
I believe it is a new feature in Outlook 07 that you must send a
cancellation to all attendees when cancelling the meeting but is there any
way to get around the issue I am having now?
If you need any more information, please let me know and I will respond as
quickly as I can.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
