The Messaging Interface Has Returned An Unknown Error. If the Problem
Persists, Please restart Outlook. I've checked the responses to similar
posts, but none quite fit.
This might be worse than it seems. I had saved my .pst file in a briefcase
folder on my flash drive. Often, I forget to resync the files before opening
one of them. So when they've both changed, I just overwrite the one that I
just opened, looked at something, and then closed right away. One such
occasion happened the other day, but there was a problem with the file on the
flash drive, and once I saved it over the one on the hard drive, they both
were corrupt. I had to run some kinda repair tool outside of Outlook to even
be able to get in. Now the file is only semi-corrupt -- I can delete the
emails that I received AFTER the repair, but not before.
Can anyone think of how I could fix this, or work around it or something
before my Inbox explodes?
Thanks,
Summarah
