Can't delete page

I want to delete a page and can't find a way to.

Highlight show/hide on the tool bar but if I press delete it won't
actually delete the section break (next page)

Mmmm. Deleting a page is a bit different than deleting a section
break. The section break may well be trying to "protect" something
it thinks shouldn't be deleted.

What if you place the cursor just after the section break, do
Shift+Left, then Backdelete?
