Can't delete text or note

Hi, I'm new to MS OneNote. In one of the Side Notes I cannot
delete either individual text, the entire textbox, or the whole
note itself. Other Side Notes or Tabs do not have this problem.

I have no passwords on anything. But the delete and backspace
keys do nothing, and the context menu has Delete grayed out.

Which version? 2003 or 2007?

Is there a notation on the Title Bar of the ON window saying that the
page is Read-Only? Can you close ON (or the Side Note window) and
restart and then edit the page?

Can you make other edits to the page (i.e. something other than Delete)?

What happens when you Select-All (hit Ctrl-A a few times) and then press
Delete on the keyboard?

OK, before I read your note I closed both the side note and the
ON interface. Then I opened up the side note again and was able
to delete. I guess it was a slightly mysterious case of sticky
permissions.
