Can't delete watermark

I am using W2003, and a macro that I always used successfully to delete a
watermark (one I created & not the default you can get with Word), suddenly
stopped working.

Any idea why this would happen? I cannot delete it manually through the
header/footer either.

Anyone know how can I fix this or (if it's locked somehow) how it could have
happened?

Never mind ... turns out Track Changes was on & that prevented me from
running the macro or deleting it manually.

Once I turned Track Changes off, it worked fine!
