Can't Delete

I ahve been using Word for a long time and have never
encountered this problem:
When I highlight words to delete and press the DELETE
key, it does not delete the text: it only prompts in the bottom of the application:
"Delete Block (Y/N)?" but I steel can't delete anything!

Hi Rafi,

Are you saying that even if you respond with Y, it still won;t delete?

You can stop receiving that prompt by selecting Options from the Tools menu
and then selecting the General tab and remove the check for the boxes
against "Help for WordPerfect users" and "Navigation keys for WordPerfect
users.
