Can't display pictures in large document - insufficient memory

Joanna

My daughter created a large document in Word 2002 for school which contained
many pictures. When we open the document, it doesn't show any of the
pictures, only empty boxes. We got an error message saying "insufficient
memory". Any suggestions how to salvage this document?... many days of work!
Thanks!

How much memory in your computer?

Memory is relatively cheap these days except for the new Memory used in
the MacTel Machines (Intel chip Mac's)

In my G4-500 I use 1.5 GB, in my Laptop PowerBook G4 1.67Gb I use 2 gb
factory installed.

When I decide to update to an Intel Mac Tower I expect I'll have 4 GB
installed. But That will be a while.
