Can't display simple Address Card view

For some reason, Outlook 2000 has started to refuse to display the simple
Address Card View. When I choose Address Card view, I get the error msg,
"Outlook Cannot Display this view". If I do it about 10 times, I will
eventually succeed.

I have run the repair thing on the intallation disk; I've even unstalled and
reinstalled (for some other error, not this) and it still doesn't work.

I can use all other views, but I have a relatively small monitor (800x600)
and the Detailed Address Card View is too bulky.

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanviews command line switch. This
switch (and a few other really helpful ones) are discussed here:

Thank you! I knew there was something like that that I used a long time ago
(maybe 4 yrs ago), but just couldn't recall.
