Can't Distill CYMK from Publisher 2003

I have an ad prepared in Publisher 2003 that contains hi-
res photo, myriad font, and some graphics. Total
Publisher file size is about 7Mb. I have no problem
printing to Adobe 6 Professional when Publisher is set to
RGB, but it will not create the HiRes PDF in CMYK when
Publisher is set to CYMK. The printer window shows the
file counting up to 15Mb but when it starts to print to
Adobe it bombs at 64k. The Adobe log show that there was
an "stackunderrun" or something like that at #50.

I have tried to install the Publisher PS Printer Driver
using the PDF port and printing to that. Doing so I get
a CMYK LOW-RES PDF, but I need hi-res. When I "save" the
Publisher file as a PS file, Adobe will not read it.

Deadline date is rapidly approaching. If anyone can
solve this puzzle it would be greatly appreciated. It
seems this is a known problem (see Microsoft Knowledge
Base Article 821960) but the solution provided do not
