Can't download Office 2000 SR-1 Core Update

I downloaded file o2ksr1a.exe which is supposed to download and install
Office 2000 SR-1 Core Update. When I execute it, after a long do-nothing
delay, I get the message "Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Update could not
download the Office 2000 SR-1 Core Update." It offers a retry, but to no
avail. What do I do?
