Hello:
I'm wondering if anyone has seen this issue or could explain why this
problem just started happening.
Old System:
PowerBook G4 running 10.3.9 , Office 2004, 11.3.6
New system:
PowerBook G4 17" running 10.4.10. Office 2004 11.3.9 <-> Xserve
running OSX server 10.3.9. The user has always been able to drag any
email message directly out of the inbox and onto the Xserve into a
shared folder. Since I gave her the 17" running 10.4.10 she gets
Privilege violations coping "certain" emails. Not all emails, certain
emails - Long file names that would be the subject line of the email.
I can create a very long file name in Word and copy via the finder to
that same server folder and it works perfectly. It's dragging an email
out of Entourage to the folder on the server that I have this issue. I
hope that I have explained the problem and that someone can shed some
light here.
Thanks in advance,
Rick
