Can't Draw Vertical Lines

I searched the archives and tried to use the drawing toolbar lin
function to draw a vertical line on my gantt chart. No go. I just ge
the hourglass spinning around and the function is not available. I
there some alternative that would allow me to place a vertical lin
anywhere within a gantt chart?

Hi ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Current and Status dates are the only built-in lines. The line drawing should work OK. Try the rectangle with a fill colour.
