Can't edit account settings

ToVa

Ever since I've updated to 2004, I am not able to access my account
setting. When I click on edit, I get error # -30588. I've even
deleted and set up the account(s) again and the same thing happens when
I click edit.

There is a known problem for some people that after viewing particular
complex HTML mail messages strange things happen, and having the account
settings locked is one of those strange things.

Have you applied the SR1 update to entourage? If you have, choosing 'about
entourage' from the Entourage menu should show you running version 11.1.0
(040913). SR1 contained several bug fixes and may alleviate this problem.

Also, if you quit entourage and restart it you should be able to edit the
account settings again - until you view one of those HTML messages again!

I have this same issue with Entourage and unable to edit accounts and
getting error -30588. I have upgraded to SR1 and still get the error.

The only way I know of (which was posted in a previous thread) is to
quit Entourage and then relaunch it without reading any new emails and
then you can edit the accounts with no problem.

Once you read an email or HTML email, you cannot do so and will get the
error.

Be aware that this only applies to some people - we don't know why yet. And
then it only applies to reading "complex" HTML messages (HTML that looks
like a web-page).

If you and Tova could tell us what your machine model's specifications, that
could help solve the problem.
