Can't edit cells if selected with mouse

I opened a sheet and if i type in the highlighted cell or
tab to a new cell I can edit it but if I select a cell
with the mouse I can't edit it or deselect it because
every time I move the mouse it selects the area that I
move the mouse over. What's causing this?? Please help!

You need to update the drivers on your MS wheel mouse. I guess that's what
you have?
