I have an Access97 database that was created by a consultant who is no
longer around. After much trial and error I made a copy of the
database, repaired & compacted the copy and was able to import all the
objects from the copy into a new XP database. I used the workgroup
file from the old 97 database. Everything looked good; users were
prompted for their log ins, the menus worked, all the user accounts
appeared as expected etc. until I realized no one is able to edit the
data. I've selected Tools, User & Group Permissions and assigned all
available permissions to groups & individual users, but still can't
edit any information. Can anyone help me with this? I'm getting
desperate!!!!
