Can't edit inserted excel worksheet in Word 2003!

I can't edit inserted excel worksheet in Word 2003. I put premission to unrestricted access, but when I double click on Excel table in my Word 2003 document it shows a message: Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges. I don't know what to do. Please help.

Hello:
You need to go to the ownership & permissions and click onto the Owner, and indicate that it is you. Then you will have access to the file. I have a MAC, and on my Mac, I right click onto the file and select Get Info, and go to the Ownership & Permissions area.
I think on a pc, you right click and go to properties. Good luck.
