I have been using outlook 2000. I use outlook tasks intensivley as i am an
administrator and have to keep on top of alot of different jobs. One of the
most functional well used features i had at my fingertips was the ability to
(in outlook 2000) simply paste a spreadsheet into a task and then edit it
whenever i wanted by simply doublew clicking it. It is a very useful thing
for me to be able to do and adds olot of organisation to what i do (i.e.
being able to make lists with columns, colours, basically alot of the things
you can do in excel). I need it in outlook tasks as apposed to simply having
a spreadsheet because quite simply, i need all my tasks with there various
embedded spreadsheets together else there would be chaos. I know have
Microsoft outlook 2003 and when i am in a task, i can 'insert object' and put
a worksheet in that way but once i click out of it i can't click back in to
re-edit, update, alter it in any way. It has become infuriating as i used
this function all the time. Anyone any suggestions as too how i can make
outlook 2003 do this (i can't see them taking anything away from an upgrade).
Thanks.
