Can't enter data in excel

I can't enter data in excel. Every time I try to put a number or a letter in
a box it changes to blue,like I'm clicking the box and highlighting other
boxes. I have deleted excel and reloaded and I have formatted my hard drive
and it immediatly started doing it again.

Any Help?????????
