Can't enter % Work Complete

Hi - on the Customize Project Web Access/Tracking Settings screen in PWA - we
have the default method for reporting progress on tasks set to "Hours of work
done per day or per week..." But we also have the "Lock down defaults" set to
"Allow project managers to change the default method for reporting...."
Finally - the "Time Period Settings" is set to "Non-Managed Periods - Allow
Project and PWA Users to update actuals".

Having said that - I created one project and used Tools - Customized -
Published Fields and changed the setting to "Percent of Work Complete". I
saved the project and re-published it.

Now when I got to My Tasks in PWA, the % Work Complete field is still
uneditable.

Some of us in our organization want people to report actual work done per
hour/per week which is why we set up the default that way. But we figured
that by setting the Lock Down Default to "Allow Project Managers to change
the method...", that I'd be able to have some projects where % Work Complete
is editable!

Can you please help? Thank you!

When you say you republished your project, did you click Collaborate -
Publish - Republish Assignments? You MUST use that feature to "push" the
new method of tracking to each user's timesheet page in PWA for the selected
project. Let us know.
