can't exit design mode

Hi there.

This is an old bug in Word, and believe me, you will soon
try to kill youself..(kidding)
Is you document based on a template??

Anyhow your document is corruptedm and you have to create
it once more. And for each change you do on the document-
tempate, you have to save a new copy.

If the document is corrupted then what could be worthwhile is to copy the
whole document EXCEPT the last paragraph marker into a new document and
then save that one.

Called "Maggying" for some wonderful reason. This often works.
