We've been having problems at work following a recent upgrade to
Office/PowerPoint 2007.
Whever a user tries to modify objects or charts, PowerPoint crashes.
We do have the hotfix from Microsoft (KB975021) but the hotfix doesn't
extract on some machines, giving an error that the expected version of
Office is not present.
As far as we can discern, there is no pattern as to which ones extract
the hotfix and which ones don't.
Has anyone else come across this problem?
We're on XP Service Pack 3.0.
many thanks
Iain
