Can't find 2007 template

I created a template in Word 2007 following the "Help" instructions but it
doesn't show up when I select New Document. It was based on an existing
2003 document. I clicked on save as a Word Template (maintain
compatability) and clicked to save in Trusted Templates as directed. Why
doesn't it come up as a choice when I click for a new Word document? (I am
clicking new from the Office logo in the top left, other template choices
due come up). Help please.
