Can't find circular references

My complex spreadsheet is refusing to recalculate. When I open it I'm told there's a circular reference but I have no idea where it is. The Circular Reference toolbar appears to be useful only when I've established which cell has the circular formula.

I welcome help!

The Navigate Circular Reference control (Dropdown) on the Circular
Reference toolbar should have a choice for the cell(s) with the circular
reference.

The Navigate Circular Ref. control dropdown remains blank. I have now found that the spreadsheet recalculates if I click the Calc Sheet button in Preferences, although the keyboard shortcut, Cmnd-Shift-= has no effect (same with Cmnd-= ). All very strange, and repeated trips to Preferences is a bit of a bore.
