When I got my computer back from having a new hard drive installed I had
to install all programs. All of the data has been available except
Outlook. The contacts are not available after the installation. A
*.pst search revealed three of six files large enough (64kb)to possibly
be the data. I get an error that these files are "Office Data file"
and are used by the operating system and I should select the program to
open the file. Selecting Outlook gets the error that the Holiday list
cannot be found. Choosing the option to find a program online reveals
that the program has .pst file extension that would open with Outlook.
How do I find where the missing files are stored. And if I found them,
how do I open them?
