Can't find LDAP Directory Server for sending my mail

I am using my Outlook a lot. Have many contacts in my outlook system. When I
like to look them up as a list, I get "Cant find LAPD directory server (81).
My address book is not listing all the contacts that I have emailed to.
Hope that you can help.

You don't state your Outlook version, something you should always do whem
posting a question. The following adssumes Outlook 2003.

To get rid the the LDAP message, click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change
existing diectories ro address books>Next. Select the LDAP entry and click
Remove. See if the Outlook Address Book service shows in that same window
and, if not, click Add>Additional Address Books>Next. Select Outlook
Address Book and click Next, then Finish. Stop and restart Outlook.
Right-click your Contacts folder, choose Properties, select Outlook Address
Book, and check the box labeled "Show this folder as an e-mail Address
Book". Click OK.
