Microsoft Document Imaging is an optional installation. You need to put in your Office CD and install it.

After furious head scratching, jivie asked:

| According to MS Online at
| http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HP010771031033.aspx MS Office
| should have a scanning function using MS MDI on the Start/MS
| Office/MS Office Tools. I can't find that in my Start Menu. I have
| Vista with MS Office. Do I have to order this as an add on to Office?
| If not, how do I get this to work?
