can't find previous posts

I use to go to the search of each category where I had posted something and
added my discussion group "NAME" babs in the search and all of my previous
posts would come up. REcently I am having problems finding my old posts???
I go to the category or the general Microsoft.public.access and search babs
and only a few come up - I posted one a few days ago and many others that
don't come up in the search.

Also I know I was on another Access Microsoft discussion group in the past
and the word Public did not show up on the left sidebar- not real clear if it
was the same or dif.

Microsoft's webpage interface to the newsgroups is flaky and unreliable at
best. There are many interfaces to the newsgroups - the webpage is NOT the
forum, it's just a poor newsreader for it.

You can use http://groups.google.com in Advanced Search mode to search
microsoft.public.access (or any of the other groups).

I am not really trying to find the newsgroups but trying to find All of MY
postings on this newsgroup - I used to search for: babs and they would ALL
come up for some reason lately none of the 2010 ones - there is at least one
or two do not show up.

I don't remember the exact date I posted them or what exactly was in the
subject. What am i missing???

How are you searching? The Microsoft webpage search has been broken for years.
Google Groups and the webpage *both connect to the same messages* - Google
Groups does so more reliably, though it also has its problems.

Since I don't know what you're doing... I can't say what you're doing wrong.
But: searching Google Groups advanced search for author
(e-mail address removed) in group microsoft.public.access finds 97
hits:


http://groups.google.com/groups/[email protected]&safe=off
