can't find product key

i just got office xp and when i tried to install it, as
usual it asked for the product key. there's just one
problem my version of it didnt come with one. i got
office xp for students and teachers with my new gateway
m500 lap top and when i cracked the seal to open it i
took out the disk to install when it asked for my product
key i looked for the yellow sticker throughout the
package it came in and i could not find it for the life
of me. what should i do?

If your new laptop came with XP, it should have been pre-
installed. Regardless, your product key should be either
on the laptop itself or part of the computer documentation
itself. If you purchased XP seperately, it would be with
the disk. You might have a hard time convincing Gateway
that you didn't get the key. Good Luck.
