Cant find Proofing Tool English (UK) on my UK Office Enterprise

I recently removed Office XP and replaced it with Office Enterprise 2007.
The full suite works great apart from spell check across all applications.
When spell checker is selected the error message "Cannot find Proofing Tool
English (United Kingdom)" . Check Spelling as you type does not operate also.

I have checked and configured the Proofing Options menu, downloaded the SP
and updates but nothing seems to work.

Please next time you post give us the information in my sig. The solution
depends on your version of Windows which you failed to mention.
In XP: Do control panel-Add/Remove programs-Microsoft Office-Change and go
to Office Shared features-Proofing Tools and install.
In Vista do Control Panel-Programs and Features and then do the same as
above.

Thanks and sorry; I am running Visio Home Premium with SP1.

I have previously tried your suggestion and have installed the whole
Proofing area to Run from Hard Drive.

I have also tried to download the Proofing Tools but was instructed that it
was already installed.

Many thanks for your response.

"Vista Home Premium"? I have Office Professional Plus 2007 and the spell
checker is working fine. Did you completely remove Office XP? The only
thing I can think of is that the previous XP installation is somehow
interfering with the 2007 Proofing Tools. Have you checked the Help and
Support site for similar issues? Start by putting "spell checker" or the
like in the search box.

Yes, it can be a problem between Office XP and Office 2007. To resolve this
problem, you can either delete or rename this proofing tools registry key and
the new key will be created for you.

Steps to rename or delete the proofing tools key:
1. Start > Run
2. Type regedit > Enter
3. Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools
4. Rename or Delete Proofing tools

When you launch an application such as Word and use speller, this proofing
tools will be recreated and your problem should be resolved. Please let me
know if this does not work for you.
